Lisa Shin, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Psychology in the School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts University.  Her research involves examining brain function and cognitive processing in patients with anxiety disorders, especially post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), using positron emission tomography (PET) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to study brain function while patients perform attention and memory tasks.
