In order to work most effectively with the university’s preferred print partners, it is important to think about the following questions before you select a print vendor so that your print materials can serve as tools for meeting strategic goals:

  • What is the purpose/expected result?
  • Who is my audience?
  • How will this be delivered (mail/hand carried)?
  • What is my budget?
  • What is my deadline?
  • Who is creating/providing photos and text?
  • Who is providing design?
  • How many do I need?
  • What format do I think will be most effective, i.e., newsletter, brochure, postcard, booklet?
  • What size piece do I envision?
  • How many colors do I imagine?
