Randy Wertheimer, M.D., is Jaharis Chair of Family Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine and Chief of Family Medicine at Cambridge Health Alliance, a Tufts University School of Medicine teaching hospital. She is board certified in Family Medicine and a practicing Family Physician with interests in women’s health and medically underserved communities. Dr. Wertheimer sees patients at the Malden Family Medicine Center, home to the Tufts Family Medicine Residency Program one of 14 training programs in the nation working to redesign medical education for the next generation of Family Physicians. She is past President of the Massachusetts Academy of Family Physicians and served on the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine from 2000 until 2009.
