W. George Scarlett, Ph.D., is a senior lecturer in the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Development in the School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts University. He has published extensively in the areas of children’s play, approaches to children’s problem behavior, and religious and spiritual development. He has extensive background researching children’s mental health and in the prevention of serious mental issues through effective school and parental management of problem behavior.
