E. Charles H. Sykes, Ph.D., is a professor of chemistry in the School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts University. Dr. Sykes and his group are focused on the development of nanoscale model systems and their use in exploring the fundamental limits of thermally and electrically driven molecular rotation as well as in surface catalyzed reactions. He utilizes state of the art scanning probes and surface science instrumentation to study technologically important systems, including the world’s smallest electric motor.
Dr. Sykes can speak about:
- Nanoscience
- Physical chemistry
- Surface science
