Define Your Project
In order to work most effectively with the university’s preferred print partners, it is important to think about the following questions before you select a print vendor so that your print materials can serve as tools for meeting strategic goals:
- What is the purpose/expected result?
- Who is my audience?
- How will this be delivered (mail/hand carried)?
- What is my budget?
- What is my deadline?
- Who is creating/providing photos and text?
- Who is providing design?
- How many do I need?
- What format do I think will be most effective, i.e., newsletter, brochure, postcard, booklet?
- What size piece do I envision?
- How many colors do I imagine?
